Defining carbon offset projects

Carbon offset projects provides greenhouse gas reduction or removals. Each verified tonne is tagged with a unique serial number, which allow the owner to sell the offset to another person or company that needs to reduce its total carbon inventory

Third-party verification of projects

Third-party verification of carbon offset projects is mandatory to have the emissions reductions or removal tagged. The verification process includes an assessment of the project, its outcomes and any potential risk. The verifier is a trained expert , who will issue a statement of verification that allows the emission reductions or removal to receive the serial numbers
